The Stuart adds sockets and ports for its device-laden guests

Hotel guests often travel with a laptop, an iPad, two cellphones and a backup power pack to keep all their devices charged.

When they walk into a hotel bedroom, they scours for the power outlets and USB ports.

The Stuart Hotel has added a number of ideally located outlets and USB ports in the bedrooms and public areas for ease and convenient use for our guests.

Multiple sockets are now available by both bedside units by the headboard with USB charging ports making it ideal to charge your cellphone or tablet by your bedside.

There are multiple sockets and ports available above the workdesk in the bedrooms for ease of access when working and catching up with emails.

The hotel has undergone a comprehensive survey with its regular corporate and leisure customers and has taken their views into account when thinking of upgrading the “plug-ability” facilities of the guest bedrooms.

Research suggests a single traveller may carry upwards of three devices when they travel and we wanted to take this into account in our bedrooms, not only supplying the ports but ensuring they are well located in convenient spots.

We know that adding outlets leads to increased guest satisfaction and this has always been important for us.

The plug-ability of public spaces is another focus of concern for our guests and we have addressed this issue by adding new sockets with usb charging ports to all walls and seating areas t the Liquid Bar.  Now guests can easily charge their multiple devices whilst relaxing in the hotel bar over a cocktail or snack.  No longer do you need to leave your devices in the bedrooms to charge.

We have received great feedback from many of our guests who have enjoyed the added facility provided since our new “plug-ability” upgrade throughout the hotel.
