Booking Terms & Conditions

Non Smoking Policy:

Smoking is totally prohibited in the entire hotel. This includes guest rooms, corridors, bars and lavatories. The no smoking policy also applies to guests visiting our conference and banqueting facilities.

If you do not comply with the smoke-free law, you will be committing an offence. The fixed penalty notice imposed on the person smoking is £200.00.  We kindly request you to respect the law and refrain from smoking in the hotel.

Early Arrival Policy:

Early arrival requests are fulfilled subject to room availability. The same cannot be guaranteed unless the room is reserved from the previous night as well.

Credit/Debit Card Guarantee:

Valid Credit/Debit Card is required to guarantee all reservations. An authorization for an amount equivalent to one night’s room rate is taken 24 hrs before on the credit card provided. If the credit/debit card is invalid or rejected, the hotel reservations department will contact the guest directly to request alternative card details. In the event that we are unable to contact the guest for any reason, or in case a valid credit card is yet to be provided, Best Western The Stuart Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if it is unable to charge for the guest stay. Full payment is taken from the Credit Card on the time of arrival. Full payment for Advance Purchase and Special Offer bookings will be charged to your Credit/Debit card at the time of booking.

Cash payments:

Payment of the accommodation by cash will require the guest to provide valid ID and a deposit payment of £100.00 in cash or a pre-authorisation of £100.0 on a valid payment card in the guests name.

Corporate Guests and Third Party Payments:

In case the company or a third party is paying for the guest accommodation and/or extras, the company or the third party should provide this information in writing to the hotel along with the front and back copy of the company credit card authorising Best Western The Stuart Hotel to charge for the said amount. For details of Third Party payment policies, please check at time of booking.

Check in & out Policy:

The room is available from 14:00 except in case of Early Check In.  The room must be vacated by 11:00 at the latest except in case of Late Check Out.

Children policy:

Accommodation and breakfast are free for 2 children under 12 years sharing parents’ room.  Baby cots are available upon request, advance booking is required.

Special term for children:

Reservations can only be made by guests 18 years old or over. When arriving at the hotel, no guests under 18 years of age will be permitted to stay without being accompanied by a guest 18 years old or over.

Cancellation policy:

For Best Available Rates no cancellation charge applies prior to 14:00 (local time) on the day of arrival.  Beyond that time, the first night will be charged.

Price Match Guarantee

The Best Western Stuart Hotel will match any price seen elsewhere for the same package, room type and with the same booking conditions.

For Advanced Purchase Rates & Special Offer Rates the total amount of the reservation is not refundable even if the booking is cancelled or modified.
The total cost of Advance Purchase stay is payable in full at the time of booking.  Failure to provide a valid credit/debit card detail for the booking will result in an automatic cancelling of the booking.

In the event of cancellation or no-show, no refund will be given.

Name on the reservation must be the same as the credit cardholder’s name and same individual must check-in for the stay.  The credit/debit card used to book the Advance Purchase rate must be presented at the time of check-in. In case if you are paying for someone else, please get in touch with our Reservations office prior to the arrival of the guest.

SPECIAL OFFERS

The hotel will from time to time promote and sell special packages.

These are subject to the following terms:-

  • Subject to availability
  • Can be restricted to certain days so please check before booking
  • Based on full payment being taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable and non cancellable.
  • Any products included in the package cannot be transferred, substituted or excluded for a package reduction
  • Special offer must be booked at the time and bookings cannot be changed to these once booked
  • Any vouchers issued must be presented at time of check in
  • Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for any alternative product or service
  • The special offers can be withdrawn by the hotel without notice

 

Offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer and the discount is non- transferable.  We reserve the right to discontinue the promotion at any time without notice.

Privacy Policy

The User of the services offered through this Website provides personal details voluntarily and expressly and fully accepts, without reservation, that Best Western The Stuart Hotel may automatically process these details and store them in an electronic file for the purposes of providing and offering its services.

Due to the nature of Best Western The Stuart Hotel business and the services it provides, and to ensure its corporate purpose is correctly pursued, it may need to communicate personal details to third parties.

Best Western The Stuart Hotel will provide the competent public authorities with personal details and any other information within its power or which is accessible from its systems and which may be required in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory provisions.

The User is responsible for the accuracy of the personal details provided to Best Western The Stuart Hotel and for communicating any changes to said details.
